"In short, I feel I am ready to commence a career in car racing. My first goal is to enter a national championship, whether in a formula-style car or touring sedans, such as F2000 or the Mazda MX-5 Cup. I feel these circuits would best facilitate the skills learned in karting, as well as allow me to gain important exposure for a future in motorsport. I feel that, if given the opportunity, I have great potential to succeed."
"Given the curve from karts to cars, mainly the necessary monetary investment, I know that bridging the gap at this time would be difficult. Thus, 2010 will be spent competing in professional-level karting, such as the Rotax Challenge, WKA Manufacturers' Cup, and the Championship Karting International series. These will provide a process with which I can develop important relationships to strengthen a serious attempt at car racing, as well as continuously improve performance driving skills and theory."
"I'd hate to put restrictions on my future by naming where I want to be, who I want to race for, etc. For now, let's just say I want to race for a living. You know, be one of those lucky ducks that gets to pull into the pits, tear the belts off, kiss the girl and smile, regardless of the finishing order...well, not totally regardless...I want to win."
"The best way to sum up my attitude toward competition is that I have an undue passion for motorsport. I grew up attending various events at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI (thanks to Mom & Dad) and have been hooked ever since."
"I take great pride in my racing and do my utmost to succeed. When I'm not on track, I study the various styles of racers past and present; from Michael Schumacher to Ayrton Senna to Valentino Rossi, and back again. I relish the diversity of driving styles across various disciplines and use this information to try to mesh the best of all worlds into my own. In addition, I spend large amounts of time on racing simulators to gain circuit, vehicle, and tuning knowledge."
"I also study the technological components of motorsport so that I can be better prepared to convert data collected on the track into positive setup changes. Along with recreational research, I am well into obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Minnesota: Twin-Cities."
Jared says, "All of this equates to an insurmountable dedication to the sport and a willingness to do almost anything in order to advance and accomplish my goals in racing. I very much want to establish adequate relationships with businesses and organizations so that only benefit may derive from the experience together."
