The weather cooperated for the final scheduled race of the season for the GNRS series at Road America. Eric Schumacher and Jared Siegel were the top drivers battling for the lead. Eric was fastest throughout the day. The racing was close, but Eric pulled out in the end when it counted. Check out mylap.com for lap times and results.

Road America has scheduled two "make-up" dates for the cancelled races earlier this season. Racing will take place on October 3, 2009 and October 10, 2009. Both Jared and Eric have indicated they will not be in attendance.

What started out as a rainy morning at RA turned into a sunny, windy and exciting day. Many thanks to the organizers at RA. Even with the early rain in the morning, the organizers stayed on schedule. The Rotax Senior Class for GNRS ended up with Eric Schumacher, Cody Elliot and Jared running close. Eric was really fast in both the Heat race and the Final. Unfortunately he threw a chain in both races in the same corner. Cody Elliot won all three races with Jared running a close second in the Feature.

It's official, winter in Northeast Wisconsin is over. Approximately 30 drivers made their way to the track on Saturday for their final tuning of engines and chassis set up. The weather definitely cooperated with high's in the 70's and plenty of sunshine. Next week the Sprint racing season begins with race one on Sunday. Practice is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. with the first race beginning at noon.

January, 2009: A surprise award went to Jared Siegel for fastest lap of the season in the TAG series. Even though he only raced with the club once, he was able to top the charts with a lap time of 1:01.582. Congratulations Jared!

Scott, the other racing family member, forfeited his spot at the last race to take home 3rd place in the Master's series. Top spot when to Bill Hogan. Both are from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Also as a nice surprise award, Bill Hogan was recognized as "Karter of the Year". Bill is one of the most dedicated members of USA. He's always there to volunteer at events. Way to go Bill!

October, 2008: TeamBrd takes the win again! TeamBrd has competed in the anual USAIR Endurance race twice. Both times Scott & Jared have taken home the champion's trophy in the 4 cycle series. On a cool fall day in October, it was a close race that was determined on the last lap. In the final stint, TeamBrd raced back from a lap down to close the gap to a matter of seconds. Unfortunately, the kart leading the race threw a chain on the last lap and wasn't able to finish the race. Jared passed for the lead and made the win an exciting finish to the race. Goes to show you, it isn't over until the checker flag waves. Way to hang in there Jared and Scott!
